AUGMENTATION

A buttock augmentation improves the size, shape, contour and tone of the underlying

tissue that supports the skin and fat in the buttocks area. Aging, sun damage, weight

fluctuation and pregnancy can contribute to poor tissue elasticity that can cause flaccidity,

deflation and poor shape.

This is done through the use of implants, fat graft or sometimes a combination of both.  Buttock implants are silicone-filled devices that are surgically placed in a deep plane of the gluteal tissue.

The buttock augmentation through the use of fat grafts, involves the transfer of fat from one area of the body to the tissues of the gluteal area, this technique is sometimes called brazilian buttlift or “BBL”.
